Install gasket (6) and fuel pump (2) on fuel pump mounting plate (71 and block (10) with two capscrews (11, ensuring lever (5) aligns with pushrod (9). Tighten capscrews (1) to 20-30 lb-R (27-41 Nom). 5. Connect vent line (4) to fuel pump (2) and tighten clamp (3) to lo-20 lb-in. (l-2 N-m). 6. Connect fuel outlet line (121 to fuel pump (2). 7. Connect fuel inlet line (13) to fuel pump (2) and tighten clamp (14). .- FOLLOW-ON TASKS: l Connect battery ground cables (para. 4-68). l Start engine (TM 9-2320-387-10) and check fuel pump and hoses for fuel leaks. 3-41
