Maintenance Level Unit 1 a. Removal 1 1. Remove two cotter pins (121, nuts (111, spring washers (lo), capscrews (81, and shackles (9) from towing brackets (7). Discard cotter pins (12) and spring washers (10). 2. Remove four locknuts (51, washers (61, capscrews (131, washers (6), and two towing brackets (7) from bumper (1). Discard locknuts (5). 3. Remove six locknuts (31,washers (4), capscrews (141,washers (41, and front bumper (1) from two mounting brackets (2). Discard locknuts (3). 71 1. Install front bumper (1) on two mounting brackets (2) with six washers (41, capscrews (141, washers (41, and locknuts (3). Tighten locknuts (3) to 90 lb-R (122 Nom). 2. Install two towing brackets (7) on bumper (1) with four washers (61, capscrews (131, washers (61, and locknuts (5). Tighten locknuts (5) to 90 lb-ft (122 N-m). 3.
