MASTER CYLINDER/RESERVOIR - Stores brake fluid, and converts mechanical pedal pressure to hydraulic pressure. PROPORTIONING VALVE - Provides balanced front-to-rear braking and activates brake warning lamp in case of brake system malfunction. ACCUMULATOR - Stores hydraulic pressure for additional power-assisted braking in case of loss of pressure in steering system. BRAKE PEDAL - Provides operator control for stopping vehicle.
