TM 9-2320-387-l 0 d. If fuel cap handle (1) is tumed more than necessary to remove fuel cap (21, fuel cap backing plate (3) may become jammed on staked threads (4). Correct the problem by holding backing plate (3) and turning the fkel cap handle (1) clockwise until backing plate (3) turns freely. e. When fueling operation is complete, install fuel cap (2) and turn fuel cap handle (1) clockwise to seal fuel cap (2). 3-23
