TM 9-2320-362-14&P WARNING SUMMARY Do not use hand throttle cable assembly as an automatic speed or cruise control. The hand throttle cable assembly does not automatically disengage when brake is applied, resulting in increased stopping distances and possibly hazardous and unsafe operation. Air conditioner system must be discharged prior to replacing components in vapor system. Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. Alternator must be supported during removal and installation. Failure to do this may cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment. Before inspecting power interface box assembly, battery ground cable must be disconnected, or serious injury to personnel may occur. Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or disconnected battery ground cable contacts battery terminal, a direct short will result, causing injury to personnel or damage to equipment. To prevent eye injury, wear protective eye wear while performing any soldering. When drilling, be sure to wear goggles for eye protection or injury to personnel may occur. Avoid skin contact with paint, primer, remover, and thinner particularly if there are cuts or open wounds on the hand. Failure to do so could result in serious injury. b
