NOTE If voltage regulator was not replaced during inspection and alternator does not pass bench test, replace voltage regulator and retest. The 60 ampere alternator, when tested at 2500 rpm under a full load, will produce 26-30 volts at 60 amperes. Proper adjustment is 27.5-28.5 volts. e.
