General mechanic’s tool kit: automotive (Appendix B, Item 1) Remove four capscrews (4), washers (5), and armor plate (1) from hood (2). b. Installation Slide narrow end of armor plate (1) between radiator-to-hood seal (3) and hood (2) until holes align, and install on hood (2) with four washers (5) and capscrews (4). Tighten capscrews (4) to 15-20 lb-in. (2 N.m). FOLLOW-ON TASK: Lower and secure hood (TM 9-2320-280-10). 11-51
