If a vehicle is not able to perform the mission, equipment will be reported as not ready/available. Refer to DA Pam 738-750. e. Correct Assembly or Stowage. Check each component for installation as an assembly, in the right place, and with no missing parts. 2-6. FLUID LEAKAGE . Wetness around seals, gaskets, fittings, or connections indicates leakage. A stain also denotes leakage. If a fitting or connector is loose, tighten it. If broken or defective, report it. Use the following as a guide: a. Class I. Leakage indicated by wetness or discoloration, but not great enough to form drops. b. Class II. Leakage great enough to form drops, but not enough to cause drops to drip from item being checked/inspected. c. Class III. Leakage great enough to form drops that fall from the item being checked/inspected. CAUTION Operation is allowable with Class I or II leakage except for brake system. Any brake fluid leakage must be reported. WHEN IN DOUBT, NOTIFY YOUR SUPERVISOR. When operating with Class I or II leaks, check fluid levels more frequently. Class III leaks must be reported immediately to your supervisor or to unit maintenance. Failure to do this will result in damage to vehicle and/or components.
