(9) (10) (11) (12) (13) Coat the back surface of the aluminum skin patch and the shelter skin within the scribe lines with mixed adhesive (paragraph 4-7.b.(4)). Position the aluminum skin patch over the repaired area. Dip the pop rivets in the mixed adhesive and use the riveting tool for pop rivets to secure the aluminum skin patch to the shelter skin (C, Figure 4-4). With a cloth, saturated in toluene solvent, squeeze out and remove immediately any excess mixed adhesive. Prime and paint the repaired surface. (Refer to paragraph 4-12.) Figure 4-4.
