Position and align lower capping ring assembly (4) onto windshield frame and transfer five hole locations to windshield frame. b. Drill five 25/64-inch holes in windshield frame. Install two long upset fasteners (2) to the outer edges of the windshield frame. Install three short upset fasteners (3) to the inner windshield frame per figure 1-26. c. Apply sealing compound to capscrews (1). d. Install lower capping ring assembly (4) onto windshield frame and secure with five capscrews (1). e.
