Install antenna (25) on antenna mount assembly (23) with four capscrews (24), gasket (26), eight lockwashers (31), and four nuts (30). NOTE Perform steps 24-11 through 24-12 only when installing cargo soft-top enclosure. 24-11. Install cargo soft-top enclosure (32). (Refer to TM 9-2320-280-10.) NOTE Ensure all slack has been taken out of cargo soft-top enclosure, and that cargo soft-top enclosure has been properly installed. 24-12. Using antenna (25) as template, locate, mark, and drill four 0.375-in. holes (33) and cut “X” (34) in cargo soft-top enclosure (32). 24-13. Install antenna (25) on antenna mount assembly (23) and cargo soft-top enclosure (32) with gasket (26), eight lockwashers (31), and four nuts (30), ensuring that ground strap (29) is inserted through cut hole (34). 24-14. Install ground strap (29) on antenna mount assembly (23) with screw (28), three lockwashers (27), and nut (18). 24-15. Tighten all nuts (18) and (30). Figure 5-96. 18. NUT – 9419143 – QTY. 1 24.
