NOTE • Preformed packings should be lightly coated with hydraulic fluid before installation. 23. Install two new preformed packings (4) and straight connectors (5) on positioning cylinders (2) inside bottom beam (19 – Rear, 20 Front). 24. Connect two hose assemblies (6) to straight connectors (5) at positioning cylinders (2). Follow-on Tasks: • Install toolbox (front dolly). • Bleed hydraulic system if necessary. (See Appendix D). • Check for leaks. • Remove wooden blocks from ends of bottom beam. • Ensure proper air inflation in air bags.
