This modification provides a method to inspect steering columns and install steering column brackets for model 12338621-1, collapsible steering columns. The inspection will ensure that steering column brackets are installed on each acceptable steering column. The brackets will prevent the collapsible steering column from wearing and cracking at mounting points and becoming loose.
