For example, if a firing section completes Table VI one month, then participates in Table XII, Table XV, and Table XVIII during subsequent months, and meets no other disqualification criteria, then that section is not disqualified until six months from the completion of the last collective live fire table. Certifying commanders may determine exceptions to qualification timelines and determine adequate measures to recertify echelons based on their assessment and unit-specific requirements. SECTION III EVALUATION, CONDITIONS AND STANDARDS 1-15. Training is the most important thing the Army does to prepare for operations and is the cornerstone of readiness. Readiness determines our Nation’s ability to fight and win in a complex global environment. To achieve a high degree of readiness, the Army trains in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
