Flight corridors (refer to chapter 11 for aviation range safety) Flight corridors are created to vertically and laterally separate aircraft from surface fires. Aircraft may operate within or pass through artillery cannon danger zones, provided — a. They are established where the maximum altitude of the aircraft will be below the ordinate corresponding to the minimum QE of the ammunition being fired above the flight corridor and corrected for density altitude. Flight corridors may provide access only through Area D. (See figs 10–1 and 10–6.) Altitudes in flight corridors will be indicated in MSL. b.
