ATP 3-09.90 v Preface ATP 3-09.90 describes Division Artillery (DIVARTY) operations and fire support for the division. The principal audience for ATP 3-09.90 is all field artillery (FA) commanders, staffs, and supported units. Users of this publication should also refer to ADP 3-0 and ADP 3-09, ADRP 3-0 and ADRP 3-09, FM 3-09 and related FA ATPs in the conduct of their specific tasks. Commanders, staffs, and subordinates ensure that their decisions and actions comply with applicable United States, international, and, in some cases, host-nation laws and regulations. Commanders at all levels ensure that their Soldiers operate in accordance with the law of war and the rules of engagement. (See FM 27-10) ATP 3-09.90 uses joint terms where applicable. Selected joint and Army terms and definitions appear in both the glossary and the text. Terms for which ATP 3-09.90 is the proponent publication (the authority) are italicized in the text and are marked with an (*) in the glossary.
