Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Diagnostic Light Does Not Operate. Change 1 0031 00-2 INDICATION/CONDITION DECISION (NO/YES) PROCEDURAL STEPS 1. Is 8-16 VDC present at terminal lug P1041 (+) (black wire) of ABS diagnostic light electrical harness? No. Go to (Indication/Condition 3). 1. Set multimeter to VDC. Yes. Go to (Indication/Condition 2). 2. Disconnect terminal lug P1041 from ABS diagnostic light. 3. Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter to terminal lug P1041 (+) (black wire). 4. Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter to a known good ground. 5. Position towing vehicle master power switch to ON and note reading on multimeter.
