(Item 95, Appendix B) Wrench, Torque, 0-175 lb-ft (Item 92, Appendix B) Pan, Drain (Item 43, Appendix B) Materials/Parts Cap and Plug Set (Item 17, Appendix C) Kit, Seal (Item 116, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 237, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 284, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (Item 282, Appendix F) Dispenser, Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape (Item 30, Appendix C) Personnel Required (2) a. Cartridge Valve Removal. (1) Remove cartridge valve (1) from counterbalance valve (2). (2) Remove three preformed packings (3) and back-up rings (4) from cartridge valve (1). Discard preformed packings and back-up rings. b. Cartridge Valve Installation. (1) Install three back-up rings (1) and preformed packings (2) on cartridge valve (3). (2) Position cartridge valve (3) in counterbalance valve (4). (3) Tighten cartridge valve (3) to 40-45 lb-ft (54-61 N·m). 16-557
