TM 9-2320-366-34-3 16-500 Change 2 16-82. M1089 LINEAR DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT) c. Assembly. (1) Install preformed packing (1) on tee fitting (2). (2) Position tee fitting (2) on linear directional control valve (3). (3) Tighten tee fitting (2) to 68-75 lb-ft (92-101 N•m). (4) Install preformed packing (4) on adapter (5). (5) Position adapter (5) on linear directional control valve (3). (6) Tighten adapter (5) to 43-47 lb-ft (58-63 N•m). NOTE Apply lubricating oil to preformed packings prior to installing.
