TM 9-2320-366-34-3 b. Installation. WARNING Underlift and stiffleg assembly weighs approximately 4000 lbs (1816 kgs). Attach suitable lifting device prior to installation. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. NOTE Left and right side of underlift and stiffleg assembly is connected the same way. Left side shown. (1) Position underlift and stiffleg assembly (1) on vehicle with six screws (2), 12 washers (3), and six self-locking nuts (4). (2) Position eight bolts (5), 16 washers (6), and eight self- locking nuts (7) in underlift and stiffleg assembly (1). (3) Perform steps (1) and (2) on right side of underlift and stiffleg assembly. (4) Tighten self-locking nuts (7) and 12 self-locking nuts (4) to 152-168 lb-ft (206-227 N·m). NOTE Left and right side shock absorber brackets are installed the same way. Left side shown. (5) Position shock absorber bracket (8) on frame (9) with four screws (10) and self-locking nuts (11). (6) Tighten self-locking nuts (11) to 195-240 lb-ft (265-325 N·m). 16-413
