TM 9-2320-366-34-3 16-68. M1089 UNDERLIFT AND STIFFLEG ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (CONT) WARNING Underlift and stiffleg assembly weighs approximately 4000 lbs (1816 kgs). Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. NOTE Left and right side of underlift and stiffleg assembly is disconnected the same way. Left side shown. (18) Remove eight self-locking nuts (45), 16 washers (46), and eight bolts (47) from underlift and stiffleg assembly (48). Discard self-locking nuts. (19) Remove six self-locking nuts (49), 12 washers (50). and six screws (51) from underlift and stiffleg assembly (48). Discard self-locking nuts. (20) Perform Steps (8) through (19) on right side of vehicle. (21) Remove underlift and stiffleg assembly (48) from vehicle. 16-412
