TM 9-2320-366-34-3 (26) Install cylinder (32) on piston (29). (27) Install coupling (33) in piston (29). WARNING Use care when installing retaining rings. Retaining rings are under tension and can act as projectiles when released. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. (28) Install retaining ring (34) in coupling (33). (29) Install coupling (33) in gear end cover (22). NOTE Step (30) requires the aid of an assistant. (30) Push down and hold coupling (33) and cylinder (32) in gear end cover (22). (31) Install retaining ring (35) in gear end cover (22). (32) Release coupling (33) and cylinder (32). (33) Position gear end cover (22) on ring gear (12) with matchmarks aligned. CAUTION Gear end cover is under pressure. Position screws evenly in gear end cover. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment. (34) Position 12 lockwashers (36) and screws (37) in gear end cover (22). (35) Tighten 12 screws (37) to 38-45 lb-ft (52-61 N·m) in sequence shown. (36) Position ring gear (12) on gear end support (5) with matchmarks aligned. 16-365
