(6) Remove preformed packings (9 and 10) from 90-degree fitting (3). Discard preformed packings. b. Installation. (1) Install preformed packings (1 and 2) on 90-degree fitting (3). (2) Install 90-degree fitting (3) on hoist hydraulic motor (4). (3) Install unsplined end of boss coupling (5) in hoist assembly (6). WARNING Adhesive Sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage your eyes. Wear safety goggles/glasses when using; avoid contact with eyes. If sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water and get immediate medical attention. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. (4) Apply sealing compound to threads of two screws (7). (5) Position gasket (8) and hoist hydraulic motor (4) on hoist assembly (6) with two washers (9) and screws (7). (6) Tighten screws (7) to 60-90 lb-ft (81-122 N·m). 16-260
