Follow-On Maintenance INITIAL SETUP Equipment Conditions Boom positioned over tool box (TM 9-2320-366- 10-2). Batteries disconnected (TM 9-2320-366-20-3). Hydraulic motor control valve removed (para 16- 47). Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 78, Appendix B) Wrench, Torque, 0-175 lb-ft (Item 92, Appendix B) Tools and Special Tools (Cont) Pan, Drain (Item 43, Appendix B) Materials/Parts Cap and Plug Set (Item 17, Appendix C) Sealing Compound (Item 76, Appendix C) Parts Kit, Seal Replacement (Item 319, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (Item 262, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (Item 237, Appendix F) a. Removal. CAUTION Cap or plug hydraulic openings to prevent contamination of hydraulic system. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment. (1) Place drain pan under hoist hydraulic motor (1). (2) Disconnect hydraulic hose (2) from 90-degree fitting (3). (3) Remove two screws (4), washers (5), hoist hydraulic motor (1), and gasket (6) from hoist assembly (7). Discard gasket. NOTE Observe orientation of boss coupling prior to removal. (4) Remove boss coupling (8) from hoist assembly (7). 16-259
