Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 78, Appendix B) Pan, Drain (Item 43, Appendix B) Goggles, Industrial (Item 28, Appendix B) Sling, Cargo (Item 56, Appendix B) Materials/Parts Cap and Plug Set (Item 17, Appendix C) Nut, Self-Locking (Item 176, Appendix F) Sealing Compound (Item 76, Appendix C) Dispenser, Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape (Item 30, Appendix C) Packing, Preformed (Item 261, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 231, Appendix F) Personnel Required (2) a. Removal. (1) Remove two screws (1) and washers (2) from bracket (3). (2) Place drain pan under hoist assembly (4). CAUTION Cap or plug hydraulic connections to prevent contamination of hydraulic system. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment. NOTE Tag hydraulic hoses and connection points prior to disconnecting. (3) Disconnect hydraulic hose (5) from check valve (6). (4) Remove preformed packing (7) from check valve (6). Discard preformed packing. (5) Position hydraulic hose (5) and bracket (3) clear of hoist assembly (4). 16-233
