TM 9-2320-366-34-3 c. Installation. (1) Install two preformed packings (1) and preformed packings (2) on fittings (3). (2) Install two fittings (3) in telescopic cylinder (4). WARNING Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage your eyes. Wear safety goggles/glasses when using; avoid contact with eyes. If sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water and get immediate medical attention. (3) Apply sealing compound to threads of two screws (5). (4) Install two wear pads (6) and screws (5) on top of boom mid section (7). (5) Apply grease to wear pads (6) and bottom edges of boom mid section (7). (6) Apply sealing compound to both wear pad mounting locations in outer end of boom base section (8). (7) Apply sealing compound to contact side of two body wear pads (9). (8) Install two body wear pads (9) in outer end of boom base section (8). (9) Apply grease to body wear pads (9). 16-199
