TM 9-2320-366-34-3 16-23. M1084/M1086 SWING DRIVE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT) (5) Install spacer (6) on shaft (4). (6) Install gear (7) on shaft (4). (7) Install plate (8) on shaft (4) with two screws (9). (8) Install bearing (10) and lockwasher (11) on shaft (4). (9) Position nut (12) on shaft (4). NOTE Rotate shaft when tightening nut. (10) Tighten nut (12) to 30-100 lb-ft (41-136 N·m). NOTE All three gears are installed the same way. One gear shown. (11) Install center spacer (13) in carrier (14). (12) Install bearing (15) in gear (16). (13) Install gear (16), two spacers (17), and pin (18) in carrier (14). (14) Install roll pin (19) in pin (18). (15) Perform steps (11) through (14) on two remaining gears. 16-118
