Follow-On Maintenance INITIAL SETUP Equipment Conditions Hook assembly removed (TM 9-2320-366-20-5). Boom positioned over cargo bed (TM 9-2320-366-10- 1). Engine shut down (TM 9-2320-366-10-1). Hoist hydraulic motor removed (Para 16-19). Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 78, Appendix B) Wrench, Torque, 0-175 lb-ft (Item 92, Appendix B) Pan, Drain (Item 43, Appendix B) Materials/Parts Cap and Plug Set (Item 17, Appendix C) Dispenser, Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape (Item 30, Appendix C) Sealing Compound (Item 76, Appendix C) Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 261, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (3) (Item 262, Appendix F) Packing, Preformed (Item 237, Appendix F) a. Removal. (1) Place drain pan under oil filled disc brake assembly (1). (2) Disconnect hose (2) from check valve (3). (3) Remove preformed packing (4) from check valve (3). Discard preformed packing. (4) Disconnect two hoses (5) from 45-degree fittings (6). (5) Remove two preformed packings (7) from 45- degree fittings (6). Discard preformed packings. CAUTION Cap or plug hydraulic hoses and fittings to prevent contamination of hydraulic system. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment. NOTE Tag all hydraulic hoses and connection points prior to disconnecting.
