TM 9-2320-366-34-3 16-16. M1084/M1086 TENSION LOAD CELL REPLACEMENT (CONT) (5) Adjust front swivel nut (6) on tension load cell (1) until approximately 0.25 in. (0.64 cm) of threads are protruding past front swivel nut. (6) Tighten rear swivel nut (3) on tension load cell (1) until gap between hoist assembly (5) and boom brace (2) is 0.015-0.030 inches (0.038-0.076 cm). (7) Install jam nut (7) on tension load cell (1). WARNING Adhesive sealant MIL-S-46163 can damage your eyes. Wear safety goggles/glasses when using; avoid contact with eyes. If sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water and get immediate medical attention. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. (8) Apply sealing compound to threads of screw (8). (9) Install stop block (9) on boom brace (2) with screw (8). 16-84
