Follow-On Maintenance INITIAL SETUP Equipment Conditions Turntable removed (para 16-11). Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 78, Appendix B) Wrench, Torque, 0-600 lb-ft (Item 97, Appendix B) Tools and Special Tools (Cont) Chain, Welded (TM 9-2320-366-10) Wrench Set, Socket (Item 84, Appendix B) Goggles, Industrial (Item 28, Appendix B) Personnel Required (2) a. Removal. WARNING Turntable bearing weighs approximately 150 lbs (68 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. (1) Remove 16 screws (1) and washers (2) from turntable bearing (3). (2) Install chain on turntable bearing (3) with two washers (2) and screws (1). NOTE Step (3) requires the aid of an assistant. (3) Guide hoses (4) and electrical connector (5) through turntable bearing (3). (4) Remove turntable bearing (3) from subframe (6). 16-63
