Wear safety goggles/glasses when using; avoid contact with eyes. If sealant contacts eyes, flush eyes with water and get immediate medical attention. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. (8) Apply sealing compound to threads of two screws (8). (9) Position two cylinder support bars (9) and screws (8) in boom mid section (7). (10) Tighten screws (8) to 72-78 lb-ft (98-106 N·m). WARNING • Boom mid section and telescopic cylinder combined weigh approximately 320 lbs (145 kgs). Attach suitable lifting device prior to installation. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. • A guide rope must be attached to aid in controlling boom mid section and telescopic cylinder during installation. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. NOTE Steps (11) through (13) require the aid of an assistant. (11) Install boom mid section (7) into boom base section (10). 16-32
