TM 9-2320-366-34-2 13-31. M1089 FRAME RAIL REPLACEMENT (CONT) WARNING Frame rail weighs approximately 300 lbs (136 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. CAUTION When removing bolts, continuous removal of collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will result in seizing of collar to bolt. (8) Remove four collars (21), bolts (22), and frame rail (4) from vehicle. Discard collars and bolts. d. RH Installation. NOTE Steps (1) through (14) require the aid of an assistant. (1) Position frame rail (1) on vehicle with two bolts (2 and 3). (2) Position two self-locking nuts (4) on bolts (2).
