TM 9-2320-366-34-2 Change 2 3-111 (6) Apply a thin coat of sealing compound between bolt holes at four areas (A) on gasket (4). (7) Position oil pan (3) on engine with 36 bolts (5). (8) Tighten four bolts (5) at locations X to 21-25 lb-ft (28-34 N • m). (9) Starting at the left rear corner of the oil pan at location Z, tighten the remaining 32 bolts (5) in a counter clockwise direction, to 21-25 lb-ft (28-34 N • m). (9.1) Starting at the left rear corner of the oil pan at location Z, re-tighten the 36 bolts (5) in a counter clockwise direction, to 21-25 lb-ft (28-34 N • m).
