M1090/M1094 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES INITIAL INSTALLATION (CONT) (38) Install gasket (9), flywheel cover (8), and transmission oil cooler hose bracket (39) on flywheel housing (10) with four washers (7) and screws (42). (39) Tighten four self-locking nuts (41) to 96-113 lb-in. (11-13 N·m). (40) Tighten four screws (42) to 16-25 lb-ft (21-35 N·m). NOTE Step (41) requires the aid of an assistant. (41) Position lower front support crossmember (5) on vehicle with four bolts (4) and self-locking nuts (3). (42) Tighten four self-locking nuts (3) to 295-369 lb-ft (400- 500 N·m). b. Follow-On Maintenance. (1) Lower cab (TM 9-2320-366-10-1). (2) Install winch control valve assembly, if equipped (para 17-25). (3) Connect batteries (para 7-57). (4) Lower dump body from maintenance legs (TM 9-2320- 366-10-2). (5) Service transmission (Appendix H). (6) Operate vehicle and check transmission oil cooler hoses and fittings for oil leaks (TM 9-2320-366-10-1). End of Task. 8-144 Change 1
