(9) Remove transmission auxiliary oil cooler (8) from vehicle. (10) Loosen two jam nuts (11) on 90-degree fittings (12 and 13). NOTE Note orientation of 90-degree fittings prior to removal. (11) Remove 90-degree fittings (12 and 13) from trans- mission auxiliary oil cooler (8). NOTE Preform step (11.1) on vehicles equipped with transmission oil cooler tubes. (11.1) Remove two preformed packings (14) from 90-degree fittings (12 and 13). Discard preformed packings. NOTE Perform step (11.2) on vehicles with transmission oil cooler hoses installed. (11.2) Remove two preformed packings (14 and 14.1) from 90- degree fittings (12 and 13). Discard preformed packings. 8-76 Change 1
