TM 9-2320-366-20-4 7-106. M1089 BOOM DOWN SOLENOID CABLE REPLACEMENT (CONT) b. Installation. (1) Install boom down solenoid cable (1) through compression nut (2), washer (3), and connector (4). (2) Install compression nut (2) on connector (4). (3) Install quick disconnect terminal (5) on black wire (6). (4) Install terminal lug (7) on white wire (8). (5) Install quick disconnect terminal (5) on ground strip (9) position 16. (6) Install terminal lug (7) on terminal block (10) position 14 with screw (11). (7) Apply varnish to quick disconnect terminal (5) and terminal lug (7). 7-540
