Tools and Special Tools Tool Kit, Genl Mech (Item 46, Appendix C) Wrench, Torque, 0-175 lb-ft (Item 58, Appendix C) Materials/Parts Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 206, Appendix G) Packing, Preformed (2) (Item 204, Appendix G) WARNING Diesel fuel is flammable. If fuel is spilled, clean it up immediately. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel. a. Removal. (1) Remove screw (1), washer (2), and loop clamp (3) from pressure regulating orifice (4). (2) Disconnect fuel ratio control tube (5) from adapter (6). (3) Remove preformed packing (7) from adapter (6). Discard preformed packing. (4) Remove adapter (6) from inlet manifold (8). (5) Remove preformed packing (9) from adapter (6).
