Visual Inspection REASON FOR QUESTION A damaged engine speed sensor will cause tachometer to malfunction. NO Replace engine speed sensor (para 7-46). YES 3. Does tachometer operate correctly after performing step 2? YES Fault corrected. NO Go to step 4 of this fault.
