Tachometer Does Not Illuminate prior to beginning this task. 1. TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION YES NO Replace engine speed sensor (para 7-46). CAUTION Read CAUTION on following page. If resistance is greater than 1440 ohms, engine speed sensor is faulty. Resistance Test or STE/ICE-R Test #91 Is less than 1440 ohms resistance present from engine speed sensor connector socket 1 to pin 2? KNOWN INFO Faulty engine speed sensor. Faulty dashboard cable assembly. Faulty auxiliary panel cable assembly. Faulty engine control cable assembly. Faulty tachometer. POSSIBLE PROBLEMS Tachometer illuminates. VOLTS gage OK.
