(9) Install retaining bar (8) on rod of cover plate assembly (6). (10) Install wing nut (9) on rod of cover plate assembly (6). d. Load Spreader Recovery. NOTE • Both left and right side load spreaders are the same way. Right side shown. • Steps (1) through (5) require the aid of an assistant. (1) Remove pin (1) and shackle (2) from front load spreader (3). (2) Remove two safety pins (4), two pins (5), and front load spreader (3) from front bumper (6). (3) Install shackle (2) and pin (1) on front bumper (6). 3-198
