Jewelry may catch on equipment, or may short across an electrical circuit or battery terminal. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel. a. Starting Disabled Vehicle. NOTE Notify Unit Maintenance if vehicle was started by another vehicle. (1) Position starting vehicle next to disabled vehicle so NATO receptacles (1) are facing each other. WARNING Ensure master power switch on both vehicles is turned off before connecting NATO power cable. Ensure vehicles are not touching each other.
