Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. When mission requires the vehicle Operator and crew to remain in a stationary FMTV vehicle with the engine running in outside temperatures above 90 F (32 C), vehicle Operator and crew must observe proper safety precautions to prevent heat stress injury. Refer to FM 21-10 Field Hygiene and Sanitation, and FM 21-11 First Aid for Soldiers for proper precautions and preventive measures. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel.
