TM 9-2320-365-34-2 (4) Disconnect oil tube (8) from 90-degree fitting (9). (5) Remove oil tube (8) from fitting (10). (6) Remove preformed packing (11) from 90-degree fitting (9). Discard preformed packing. (7) Remove preformed packing (12) from fitting (10). Discard preformed packing. (8) Remove 14 bolts (13) and washers (14) from cylinder head (7). (9) Remove six bolts (15) from cylinder head (7). WARNING Cylinder head weighs approximately 150 lbs (68 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment. CAUTION Keep cylinder head level during removal to prevent damage to dowels. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment. NOTE Step (10) requires the aid of an assistant. (10) Remove cylinder head (7) and gasket (16) from cylinder block (17). Discard gasket. 3-69
