TM 9-2320-365-20-3 8-15. TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES REPLACEMENT (CONT) b. Installation. NOTE Install plastic cable ties as required. (1) Install preformed packing (1) on fitting (2). (2) Position transmission oil cooler hose (3) on fitting (2). (3) Tighten transmission oil cooler hose (3) to 94-104 lb-ft (127-141 N·m). WARNING Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing. Keep away from open fire and use in a well- ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water. Failure to comply may result in injury to personnel. (4) Apply antiseize compound to threads of 45-degree fitting (4). (5) Install 45-degree fitting (4) in transmission oil cooler hose (3). (6) Connect transmission oil sampling hose (5) to 45-degree fitting (4). (7) Install preformed packing (6) on fitting (7). (8) Position transmission oil cooler hose (8) on fitting (7). (9) Tighten transmission oil cooler hose (8) to 94-104 lb-ft (127-141 N·m). 8-64 Change 1
