Battery acid is harmful to skin and eyes. Always wear eye protection when working with batteries. Negative battery terminals and battery tester negative terminal lug must be disconnected first. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel. NOTE Tag battery terminals, terminal lugs, and connection points prior to disconnecting. (1) Remove nut (1) and lockwasher (2) from battery 24 VDC ground cable (3). Discard lockwasher. (2) Deleted.
