TM 9-2815-220-24 EXHAUST MANIFOLDS AND ASSOCIATED PARTS REPLACEMENT 0107 00 REMOVAL (Continued) 3. Remove 1-2-3 left exhaust manifold (19). a. Remove self-locking nut (24), screw (25) and clamp assembly (26) at manifold (19). Discard self-locking nut. b. Remove twelve self-locking nuts (27) from exhaust manifold (19) at cylinders 1-2-3 left. Discard self-locking nuts. c. Remove exhaust manifold (19) and three gaskets (28). Discard gaskets. NOTE Remove pipe plugs only if required. Typically exhaust plugs are very difficult to remove. 4.
