First tighten all nuts to 500 inch-pounds 2. Then tighten all nuts to listed torque 3. Check stud stretch: Optimal: .019 - .022 inch 4. Tighten nuts as applicable to obtain proper stretch. 5. Do not exceed .024-inch stretch when aligning wire holes. NOTE Studs which exceed the stretch limits at less than 700 inch-pounds must be replaced. Studs which exceed the stretch limits above 700 inch-pounds must be loosened and re-subjected to steps 1-5. Re-torquing any singular stud nut is not allowable.
