Remove 1. Remove main oil cooler bypass valve plug (A) and gasket (B). 2. Remove and discard gasket (B). 3. Remove bypass valve spring (C). Install 1. Install bypass valve spring (C) in damper and oil filter housing. 2. Position a new bypass valve plug gasket (B) on bypass valve plug (A). 3. Install plug (A) in housing. Figure 6-100.
