NMWR 9-2815-220 CRANKSHAFT DAMPER AND OIL FILTER HOUSING OVERHAUL—Continued 0015 00 GENERAL INSTRUCTION 1. This section covers overhaul of the crankshaft damper, oil filter assembly, and associated parts. Specific instructions on disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly are included. Wear limits, fits, tolerances, and overhaul inspection procedures (OIPs) for individual components are also included. Stud identification information is included in the repair instructions. Mandatory replacement parts are designated by an asterisk (*) in the key to Figure 2, 3, 4. DISASSEMBLY 1. Disassemble crankshaft damper, oil filter assembly, and associated parts in accordance with TM 9-2815-220-34. CLEANING 1. Refer to WP 0005 00 for general cleaning instructions. Insure all oil passages are clear and free of obstructions after cleaning. INSPECTION 1. Inspect components not covered by an OIP in accordance with WP 0005 00. 2. Refer to WP 0005 00 and the OIPs in Table 1 for specific inspection criteria for selected items. 3. Discard all mandatory replacement parts. Refer to Figure 2, 3, 4. 0015 00-2
