The AVDS-1790-2DR Diesel Engine is a Military-Grade V12 Air-Cooled Main Propulsion Unit used on the M88 Tank Recovery Vehicle variant M88A1 as well as the M60A1 and M48A5 Chassis AVLB Bridge Launcher. The AVDS-1790-2DR engine has a 1790 cubic-inch displacement and provides an output power of 750HP at 2450 RPM. The AVDS-1790-2DR engine provides a power take-off drive for a hydraulic pump.
